Summary

Website traffic grew about 51% once the Mississippi Magazine ad was in print, from about 311 visits a month (January–March) to about 470 a month (April–October).

I credit most of that growth to the ad: roughly 800 extra visits from people scanning the QR code or typing in our web address, and about 200 extra visits from people searching for the cemetery by name on Google.

Other things helped too: the Mississippi Today story in April, our monthly email newsletter, Facebook, and the October film premiere at the Capri.

Visits from people coming straight to the site jumped once the ad ran and have stayed higher since.

New Home Page Preview

The redesigned Greenwood home page is ready to review on a hidden page. The live site hasn't changed.

It keeps the olive and cream colors with a cleaner look and a simpler menu, and on phones the menu sits at the bottom of the screen where your thumb can reach it. It also includes three clear ways to visit, the new Highlights Tour 1 map, guided tour booking, and membership and gift options.
